Sweet 16

I have a 16 year old now....amazing! She wanted a quiet dinner with just family and one friend. She wanted Lo Mein, egg rolls, and banana splits. She is an amazing girl who loves the Lord with all her heart. She is so shy it can be painful sometimes but has a faith that is such an example to me.

The dishes were my favorite as a child and now have become hers. My grandmother always took them out for me when I visited now her great grand daughter loves them when its her time to pick dishes to eat on.

I picked flowers from our flower beds.... sniff deep you might catch that sweet aroma of gardenias, lantana, and bee balm.

Twenty years ago in Nov I turned 16 and was given a little diamond ring so on this day that ring came out and was passed on to her and it fits perfectly.
