Plain and Simple

Art appreciation for today Norman Rockwell's Freedom of Speech painting. Inspired by President Roosevelt's Four Freedoms Speech on Jan 6, 1941 also the State of the Union Address.

We are using Picturing America Kit- from the National Endowment for the Humanities with nice size laminated pictures and a teachers book with a description, history, and questions for each print. When we are done with the kit we are going to use the pictures for decoration and rotate them around.

Back porch covered in little birds Chipping Sparrows, Pine Siskens, Cardinals, Gold Finches, Junco's, a pair of Ring Neck Doves, and lots of enjoy for us.
And Lucky thats the cat's name.... We call this the cat tv they just sit and watch the birds and drool.
