~~Friday Fragment~~

~~cold, windy, and rainy on Monday

~~ Tuesday cold and wet from the rain on Monday, but the sun came out.

~~someone we knew, only slightly though, passed away Sunday. She was on the phone with her husband he was out of town and she was on her way to church, she dropped her phone and reached down to get it and went off the road and hit a pine tree. The phone went dead and he knew something happened he called someone from church to go look for her and they found her. Such a sad accident, but reminds us one of the drawbacks of cellphones.

~~all the Christmas stuff is up I let the kiddos do most of it even the outside lights.

~~ it was biting cold all week

~~Wyatt and I got haircuts this week and while we were out the silly engine light came on in my van...again. We went to Auto Zone to have it checked and it was the gas cap... again. It either is loose which I redid it twice while we were out or it just needs to be replaced. But I am pleased it is nothing major and can easily be replaced or just ignored.

~~Ashley and I went to a Christmas party last night she had a lot of fun making a craft, but we spent earlier in the day at a 4H meeting and getting some supplies to make soap for Christmas presents.

~~Today we are doing our volunteering at a food pantry, the orders have gotten to be numerous with the holidays and the economy.

  1. It hasn't been very wet this winter, yet. It's been very cold, but not wet, really no snow either.

  2. Dear Erika,

It sounds like an eventful week! How sad about the car accident; thank heavens that we do not have to figure out all the details to life.

Isn't it wonderful to know that the Lord provides for His own, even during times of trial? I'm glad that you could help out with orders.

    Love,

    Marqueta

  3. It did nothing but pour here today. Great day to do nothing, though.

Very sad, about the accident. How horrible for that husband.

We'll be volunteering this week, too, I'm sure; there was a major fire in the town in which I teach, and 40 people have been displaced. Thankfully, though, no one was hurt.

Thanks for linking up :) Have a great weekend.
