For Today... June 29,2009
Outside my window... sunny, hot, but still very much a blessingI am thinking... of the things I have to do this week and to remember
From the learning rooms… We are still on colonial times this week we are making our own dyes with things found in the woods, a tricone hat, a fan, and a little bit of other things to go with our theme.
I am thankful for… for our trip to the temple this weekend, the focus needed to be brought back to certain things.
From the kitchen.... nothing for now. Here are some pictures of what we did last week in that very creative room though
I am wearing… my exercise sweats
I am reading.... The Country Encyclopedia…again… our copy fell apart from reading and rereading. But I checked this one out from the library.
I am hoping... for rain….soon
I am creating... colonial crafts this week with my children and finishing up a skirt.I am hearing... my son opening a cabinet, the dishwasher, household sounds that make life interesting
Around the house... things will be turned upside down today as I get some items ready to take to an antique consignment shop. I am simplifying more downsizing to things that really matter to me.
A few plans for the rest of the week... piano, sewing, crafting, school, consignment shop, july 4th, hubby being really busy, buying a plane ticket for him to go to Florida, and trying to stay out of trouble.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...Click here to see our week in pictures.
