Jack Frost came a sneakin',
One chilly, autumn night.
Wouldn't you know?
He touched everything in sight!
Oh, he paints a pretty picture,
As we see by the rising sun.
The beauty of his work shows,
But not the damage he has done.
The weeds and the flowers,
The tomatoes and the corn,
All were hanging their heads,
By the middle of the morn.
So once again ol' Jack,
Puts an end to the growin'.
He came and went so quietly,
Without his face a showin'!

We have lots of frost and cold, cold nights. Christmas doesn't feel close at all but it is and all the decorations are out, simple, and focusing on the reason for the season.
Have a Blessed Day

Just beautiful as always dear friend...
ReplyDeleteHere we have not had such cold temperatures yet!
But I know that it is just around the corner.
Be blessed,
