Babies

Our second batch the first was caught in bad weather and none of them made it thru shipment. But, this is our second batch and are very lively. The company we buy from was wonderful and replaced the first.

Love,

Erika

Update: I was asked what kind of chicks we had, well they are Cornish Roasters, a few Red Star males to add warmth in shipping, and a free exotic chick.

They will be really good come this summer and fall since they will grow out by May and then we will slaughter them and can the meat.

We are almost our of last years batch which we did the same thing to.

  1. How cute! Looks like my chicks I got last Fall that are now laying. Are they White Rocks? It was nice the hatchery replaced all of the chicks.

  3. Dear Erika,

What sweet chickies! I'm sorry that the first shipment was lost; how sad.

They look like they're settling in; I wish I could snuggle with them!

    Love,
