Simple Woman's Daybook May 19, 2009

I didn't get to do this yesterday but wanted to jump in today and say something. I haven't been on here much and today I felt I needed to.
For Today...May 19,2009

Outside my window...Is a beautiful brisk day. The sun is shining it is in the 60's a cool breeze is blowing, the windows are wide open, and the birds are happily chirping their morning song.

I am thinking... Of my husband it is his 45th birthday today I met him when he was 26 I was 17 that seems like a very long time ago. He is a treasure to have my equal someone who knows me for who I really am and stills loves me. He doesn't expect me to be what I am not and I don't have to hide who I am with him.

From the learning rooms… We are done with school for now in about 3 weeks we will start summer stuff I still have to order what we are going to use but for now we are done.

I am thankful for… my family and all that they are to me. They make me whole and complete. Yes I get stressed with them being with your children 7 days a week 24 hours a day can make a person cross sometimes. OK just me I am not perfect like all the other moms I know but generally I can't imagine my days without them.

From the kitchen.... Yguy is making biscuits, Ash made a choc cake for daddy, and I am going to work on a Buttermilk Choc Wheat cake this afternoon. I'll post the recipe this week sometime

I am wearing…one of my long demin skirts, pink flip flops, and a aque blue colored cked top.

I am reading.... books on aquatic gardens. I want to do something different with our goldfish pond and so therefore am reading up on possiblities.

I am hoping... For many things but today for the pain ib my shoulder to go away or at least subside.

I am creating...Nothing I hurt my shoulder and yesterday aggravated it by weeding the garden and thinning the watermelon, cantalopes, and okra now I cannot move it without pain. I am resting it on the desk right now so it just burns. But I do feel old at this moment since I am a very active person and I wanted to go bowling Thursday night and it looks like I might have to just watch.

I am hearing... Eye of Wonder's playlist I just love the music it is so soothing and brings such a wonderful feeling in the house. I listen to it often.

Around the house... is finally caught up from last weeks camping trip, the garden is weeded tonight I hope to direct the rest of the family in multching it with the leaves we saved. I doubt I will be helping much.

One of my favorite things... Reading Jewel's blog posts of Eye of Wonder she is such a good writer and inspirational. If you haven't found her blog click on over and read and be inspired

A few plans for the rest of the week... Birthday dinner and cake tonight, Church meetings, Herbology class, errands, bowling, ice cream social, kids to grandma's friday night, and hopefully a peaceful lovely week. Which I know I will! I hope you do as well!

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...Early morning visitors our last day of camping. They came early in the morning before as well.
