Yesterday, would have been day 5 but it was Sunday and I had other things on my mind. I did wear a skirt and I did change into one after church but alas not picture.
Today is all homemade, skirt I made a few weeks ago I posted here. The top I made last summer to go with my pioneer day outfit along with the apron. They are made out of unbleached muslim which I love since I love things that are made from natural materials. Most of my clothing is polyester is so hot.
That's our driveway behind me and I am standing in one of my flowerbeds this one is the stages of creation. I add things to it every summer things that butterflys and hummingbirds love. Our soil is so bad that things are hard to find that will actually live in acidic soil. But I have found things that do and when I do I am a happy camper.
Have a Blessed Day.
Erika
Dear Erika,
ReplyDeleteYour flowerbed looks like it's off to a great start! I bet you could grow great blueberries in your acidic soil :) .
I know what you mean about polyester clothes; they freeze you in the winter and roast you in the summer! Using light muslin is a great idea in the heat.
Love,
Marqueta
p.s. Enjoy your wild lettuce!
I love the pioneer top! I think it goes lovely with your skirt and apron!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have very good soil here too - I miss the good dark dirt of the midwest!
